Position Title: Assistant to Church Property ManagerPosition Type: Part TimeJob Description:- Provide logistics for Church wide activities (set up chairs, tables and requested items for audio/video equipment, easels, etc.)
- Provide assistance to the Staff as requested to assist in activities of the Church
- Operating and scheduling the mechanical (HVAC) systems to maintain normal temperatures in the building when being used. The equipment should be operated in a manner to prevent energy (cost) waste
- Ensure lights and other electrical are operated in a manner to prevent energy (cost) waste. Replace bulbs and ballast as required.
- Ensure the appearance of the parking lots and grounds are maintained as needed.
- Serve as part of an emergency team response member during bad weather, or property/grounds emergencies.
- Assist as needed in the maintenance of church vehicles (must be 21 years old to drive)
*NOTE: This is a hands-on, roll up your sleeves, physical ministry role which will call upon the assistant to the property manager to regularly climb, lift, repair, and move items in the normal course of daily responsibilities.
The Assistant to the Property Manager will report to the Property Manager
The normal work schedule is flexible and may require up to 5-7.5 hours per week as scheduled by the Property Manager or Staff.
