Founded in 1782, Jarvis Memorial UMC is the oldest Methodist congregation in Greenville, NC.  Jarvis Memorial is proudly United Methodist today and is recognized by the NCCUMC as a Lighthouse Congregation. We are committed to the care of those who wish to remain United Methodist. We seek to be a haven of peace and hospitality through worship, discipleship, mission, sacrament, and pastoral care. Often on holiday weekends, Jarvis offers a Single Service Sunday, giving all who worship an opportunity
to join together in one worship. These alternate with the Contemporary and Traditional services.
