Men's Bible Study Groups

-Men's Prayer Breakfast meets every Friday at 7 am at Cypress Glen (100 Hickory Street, Greenville, NC 27858)

-The Simon Fellowship Group is a group of retired men who meet and discuss topics of interest They meet every 1st and 3rd Tuesday morning in the months of September to May. Contact Jim Carter for more information at:  jcartersr605@earthlink.net.

griefshare support groups

The GriefShare support group meets every Tuesday evening through May 22, 2018 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm in Room 01 of the main building. GriefShare is a network of 12,000+ churches worldwide equipped to offer grief support groups. The program is nondenominational and features biblical concepts for healing from your grief. united methodist men

United Methodist Men meet the first Sunday of each month at 7 am for breakfast. The UMM President is Stephen Thomas. Email him at (thomass@ecu.edu) with any questions. The UMM is responsible for the annual BBQ fundraiser, the First Responders Meal and the Fish Stew . . . just to name a few.

Ways to Serve

-Shepherd's Helpers set up metal ramps at handicapped individual's houses throughout the community to improve mobility. Volunteers DO NOT need tools or skills. Contact is Hilda Alford (silver7turtle@yahoo.com).

-Upward Basketball/Cheerleading meets every week beginning in December for basketball practices. Sign ups and tryouts are in late fall, games typically start the first Saturday after Christmas break and run through the end of February. Upward is always looking for volunteers, coaches and referees. Visit www.jsmnow.org.

-Shelter Meal meets the fourth Friday night of each month from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Taft Christian Life Center kitchen to prepare meals, transport and serve the prepared meals to the Community Crossroads Shelter. Contact Jeff       Boswell at: jeffwboswell@gmail.com.

-Driving Ministry - drivers are needed for a variety of activities but especially on Sunday mornings to pick up Cypress Glen residents for the 10:55 am service.

-Intercessory Prayer Group meets every Wednesday from 10:00 am to 11:30 am in the Parlor (main building). This group meets in a quiet setting to pray for designated prayer requests, anonymous prayer requests that are submitted on our website and through prayer cards from our church services.
