Easter Sunday Services - 6:30 am, 9:00 am and 10:55 am.

Please see below*

Maundy Thursday - Join us on April 18 for our Maundy Thursday service at 7 pm in the Sanctuary. Nursery will be provided.

Tolling of the Bells - Join us at the Jarvis Memorial bell on Good Friday, April 19 at 3:00 pm as we toll the bell thirty-three times in honor of the hour Jesus offered his last words before his death, “ Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.”

Good Friday - The “Good Friday” service will be on April 19 at 7:00 pm in the sanctuary where the combined choirs and orchestra will present the Requiem by John Rutter. We gather to remember the words of Jesus - “My God, my God, Why?” (Psalm 22) “It is finished.” (John 19). Nursery will be provided.

The Requiem was first performed in its entirety on October 13, 1985 at a United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas, and conducted by the composer. Since then it has become a firm favorite with choirs and audiences the world over. Though it necessarily has its dark moments, Rutter’s Requiem is unmistakably optimistic in its message of hope and comfort, expressed through the beauty of the chosen texts and Rutter’s uplifting music.

*Easter Sunday, April 21 - Please bring your flowers to put on the floral cross Easter morning. The cross will be outside in the front of the church for the Sonrise service, at the entrance to the Taft Christian Life Center before the Daybreak service, and at the back of the Sanctuary prior to the traditional service. Come early, attach your flowers to the cross with all the others, and witness how this becomes a living symbol of hope as we celebrate Jesus' resurrection.

We will have three services to choose from. The 6:30 am “Son”rise Service will be on the front lawn. If weather does not permit, the service will be inside in the Chapel. There will be a small reception to follow.

9:00 am worship service in the Taft Christian Life Center.

10:55 am worship service in the Sanctuary.
